This has been in the works for a while now. Sketched it several weeks ago, but only scanned it last week. Started the line art a few days ago, and finished it off just now. This was pretty hard, I've never drawn a sea lion before but it's something I've wanted to do for ages! The anatomy isn't perfect and any tips would be much appreciated!
This guy doesn't have a name. I'm not sure if I'll keep this as a character or just a reference for the style. Either way, definately more pictures to come! Maybe not too soon though, with school starting an' all XP
EDIT: Well, I took on board the advice of the people who left me some constructive crit. earlier. I've moved the front flippers and made them a little longer and wider, and I've fiddled around with the lines a little I don't usually edit/redo pictures at all, however much I notice wrong with them. But, since this is to become either a character or a reference I figured it deserved reworking
The eye was done without any references ^^ I used a photo for the shape of the back flippers, but the nails I did myself since I knew where they were anyway

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
